Asus has introduced the Chromebook CX14 in India, positioning it as an affordable, education-centric device tailored for students and teachers. Priced between Rs 18,990 and Rs 20,990, the Chromebook CX14 is available starting today, with an additional variant (CX1405CKA-S60394) set to launch on Amazon shortly.
Running on ChromeOS, the Chromebook CX14 is backed by Google Workspace integration and 100 GB of Google cloud storage. Asus has emphasized security with the inclusion of a dedicated Titan security chip.
The device weighs approximately 1.39 kg and is built to meet U.S. military durability standards. It also features a 180-degree hinge and a wear-resistant paint finish, designed to withstand everyday classroom use.
The Chromebook CX14 sports a 14-inch full-HD display with brightness up to 300 nits. Under the hood, it houses an Intel Celeron N4500 processor, paired with up to 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB eMMC storage. Graphics support is handled by Intel UHD graphics.
Powering the Chromebook is a 42 Whr battery. Connectivity options include a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, an HDMI 1.4 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Kensington nano security slot.
